The Azzarelli name has been synonymous with the building industry since 1948. Azzarelli Construction Company was founded in Illinois as a sand and aggregate supply company. It soon became a full service highway, heavy and underground construction company and building contractor. Expanding into Florida in 1957, the company included asphalt plants, ready mix concrete plants, and a development company. Today, the original company has fragmented, but the name and impact on the industry is far reaching. Some of those fragments have yielded Raspolich Material Company, Kankakee, Illinois, ready mixed concrete and material [Joyce Raspolich (Josephine Azzarelli)]; Kankakee Valley Construction Company, Illinois, purchaser of Azzarelli Construction Company, Illinois [John R. Azzarelli, Vice President, Phil Czernik (Paula Azzarelli), Tom Martin (Cindy Azzarelli) and Greg Azzarelli]; Elements Architecture, Tampa, Florida (Bret R. Azzarelli, Principal); Dallas One, Tampa, Florida, site development and municipal construction (Bart Azzarelli, Jr., President, BJ Azzarelli); Azzarelli Paving and Site Development, Tampa, Florida, paving contractor, (Jim Azzarelli, Jr., President, Rick Azzarelli, Vice President, Jay Azzarelli); Pave-Rite, Inc., Lecanto, Florida, site development [JR Azzarelli, Mike Delgado (Nancy Azzarelli), Jerry Zelinski (Lynn Azzarelli)]; Nalls Consulting, Tampa, Florida, construction consulting [Tim Nalls (Joan Azzarelli)]; and Azzarelli Builders, Inc., general contractor, Tampa, (Thomas J.
